Eloisa has been working as a translator and interpreter since completing her Masters degree in 1998. Initially working as a translator, then as a software localiser, she gained technical knowledge in this challenging field.

Whilst working as a translator for a judicial expert in Rio de Janeiro, Eloisa was tasked with interpreting conference calls between the experts and the members of the other party in the litigation process, and that was the beginning of her career as an interpreter. She then gained qualifications initially as a community interpreter and eventually she qualified as a public service interpreter in 2014 and has been working in police and court assignments since then.

Eloisa previously worked in the further education sector, helping people to gain skills and qualifications which would enable them to secure a permanent position.
