AGM
According to our Articles of Association, we are required to hold a General Meeting once a year. The date of each Annual General Meeting is announced at the end of the preceding year’s AGM. The next AGM will be held on:
17 October 2022
From this page you can access all the documents which will be referred to at the next AGM, including:
- Notice of Meeting
- Agenda
- Minutes of last year’s AGM
- Directors’ reports
- Financial statements
The documents for previous years’ AGMs are stored in the Document Library.
Voting
Any resolutions put to a general meeting may be decided on a show of hands by those members present. However, the Directors have the discretion to call a postal ballot. If a postal ballot is called, votes may be cast in person, by post or on line. If you vote by post or on line, you may still attend the meeting in person; however, you are not entitled to cast a second vote.
Please note that Student Members, Associate Members and Retired Members do not have a vote at general meetings.
Directors
APCI is run on a voluntary basis by Directors who give up their time freely to support their colleagues. Directors are elected for a period of two years and may serve up to four consecutive terms. If you have some spare time and would like to contribute to our work, you may consider standing for election. Your initial commitment would be to attend ten Directors’ Meetings a year and one general meeting, and to undertake project work between meetings. In addition, all Directors take occasional escalation calls from APCI Response. Your nomination would need to be supported by two existing members. You can download a Director Nomination Form from the Document Library.
